Another great suggestion by my friend Sigi D. in Germany! Check out his Flickr photostream of Fast & Furious products! I knocked out the prototype of this car in a few days' time including all of the decal design. Finding and re-creating all the logos inside and out of the car was a lot of late-night work but it paid off!

Once the prototype was looking good it just came down to rounding up enough of the Civics to make a series. The base Boulevard Civic is quite versatile, as I used one for the Ford Escort prototype's wheels so I had a few in stock already. A few eBay purchases later and I had over 20!

I really liked that I didn't have to replace the wheels with anything else and that the metal bodies remained stock beyond repainting. I had to de-chrome the wheels so the whole chassis minus tires got a nice dip in my super de-greaser solution that took it down to black plastic again. I also tried one car with different wheels just to see how it would look.

Hundreds of decals had to be applied by hand.. spent 2 days doing nothing but decals. But they really pop on this car!

The whole project only took about a month! On to the next project!
