In my further quest to do as many cars from Fast Five as possible, this handsome Nissan 370z was next in line. I easily picked up plenty of Hot Wheels' basic car and I had 10-spoke wheels leftover from the 2 Fast 2 Furious BMW project. They were even the right axle width! All cars were drilled and stripped and a piece of styrene side molding was added. I decided to make the sort of molded intake vents on the front fenders as a decal effect instead of trying to mold them. I think it looks great! The carbon fiber hood and winglet are the product of grid printed on clear decals and applied over the silver paint. It looks really impressive in person. Lots of decals on this car from the front to the back including the Turbonetics radiatior and tiny 370z rear logo and license plate.
The prototype was completed before I moved and once I got set up again the rest of the cars were completed in just a few weeks! I think this is a great car for Fast & Furious fans as well as any Z car lovers.
